ML planetary system is suitable for straight and curved tubes finishing. In this operation the tube is not spinning since the abrasive belts rotate around the tube while this is safely transported by the feeding systems, guaranteeing low vibration.
The contact roller applies pressure in the abrasive belt to allow it to grind the flat surface, remove scratches and polishing the tube surface uniformly. The abrasive brush creates smooth finishing both in tubes and flat bars.
DM machines often feature flexible counter rotating abrasives blocks or planetary brushes in order to make edge rounding on laser, punch, shear or even waterjet cut parts. The integration with wide belt grinding units with different technologies delivers a completely clean, smooth and burr-free metal cut part.
