The FGW170 flat surface and square tube polishing machines are specialized equipment designed for surface finishing with water cooling to polish bars, rectangular tubes, and flat surfaces of diverse shapes.

These machines enable the work up to 170mm in width with multiple combinations of abrasive belt heads.

The wet cooling system reduces the heat on the surface of the material and removes the dust from the polishing area. The dust is filtered from the water which operates in a closed circuit.

Square or rectangular tube finishing

Fixed working height

FGW machines have a constant working height. The adjustment for different thicknesses is made by the movement of the abrasive stations, keeping the conveyor belt always at the same level. This helps the work of long tubes and bars without having to adjust roller tables.

Parts return system (option)

FGW170 2ZR has a parts return system which enable the complete job do be done by one single operator.

Manual filtration system

The water runs permanently in a closed circuit. The paper filter needs to be checked and moved manually by the operator every time dust accumulates.

Automatic filtration system

As an alternative to the standard manual system, the automatic option provides a continuous renovation and monitoring of the filter paper’s cleanness, avoiding the operator having to perform this task.

Air blower

Removes water drops from the material, reducing simultaneously the quantity of water splashed outside the machine.
